Therapy Pressure FAQ

Therapy Pressure

What if I need to change the therapy pressure on my Transcend?

Your clinician or durable medical equipment (DME) dealer will set therapy pressure for you. If you need to change your therapy pressure setting after you have received your Transcend, you must contact your dealer and have them make the appropriate adjustments for you.

Do I need to make any adjustments to my Transcend if I travel or fly at high altitudes?

No. Transcend automatically compensates therapy pressure to altitudes of up to 8,000 feet.

How are the pressure and ramp set on Transcend?

Pressure and ramp can be set by a Clinician or DME on the Transcend CPAP by using either the compliance software supplied with the Transcend Sleep Apnea Therapy System or the optional LCD Programmable Base Station. Either must be operated in Clinician mode to make adjustments to the settings on Transcend.
